Soil Sisters CSA Shares Available!

March 5, 2010

Willow and I are getting excited, what with all the little broccoli and tomato seedlings leaning towards the sun coming through the greenhouse,  the snap peas tucked into the soil ready to bring us that crisp june treat, and finally a decent amount of dirt under our fingernails after a winter waiting to get back into the ground!

We still have CSA shares available for this season! We are going to have so much delicious produce, fruit, and flowers that’ll make you cry they are so pretty!  Sign up by going to the CSA section and downloading the form.  Send it our way and you’re in! Tell your friends too, we need more of our community supporting local farms directly, that way we can grow more farmers and more farms for Nevada County!

Can’t wait to hear from you,

Maisie

hey now, I would like to know more about the flower bouquet-shares. Also, what would the bouquet size be? For instance, as compared to the $10 bouquets that S.P.D. sells?
When in early summer to you think you’ll start?

Hey Kate, the flower share will probably begin mid-July, depending on weather as it’s been a very slow spring (wet and cold). They will be generous sized bouquets, equal or larger to $10 bouquets at SPD. Pick up will be on Tuesdays at In the Kitchen at the same time as our veggie CSA. Let me know if you have any other questions! willowhein@gmail.com
